"I've been on a bit of a banh mi journey so I had read that City Provisions offer a really good banh mi so popped by. Place an order and it's prepared in a jiffy. The bun is quite crunchy and flaky but soft and is well filled with tasty ingredients. I like the sweet and sour dressing which moistens the carrots, cucumber and coriander. The chilli stays in the background but really builds and has quite a hum. The meats are a little disappointing being deli meats rather than the real thing. If they swap this out with real meat it will be so much better. Tasty meal though."

"We decided to try this place before one of the fringe shows. This place serves halal food. We ordered the Malaysian Lor Mee, the Bee Hoon goreng and the sweet and sour chicken and teh tarikh. Our meals came quite quickly but the drinks came a little slower. The Lor Mee was delicious. The bee hoon goreng was tasty too. Their teh tarikh was almost similar to the ones i've had overseas. The service is not great. The waitress who took our order didn't look happy, she didn't smile. We felt like she didn't want to be there which was such a shame. Would love to come back to try more of their dishes, hopefully the service will be better next time."

"We ordered takeaway for a family of four and waited over 30 minutes for the food to be cooked, despite being told it would be 10 minutes. The three dishes we ordered were okay but for $65, the portion sizes were a rip off! The rice was filled to 2/3 of the container and the prawn dish would have had a total of 4 prawns which were cut into small pieces to disguise how few there were."

"I ordered a takeaway here and was happy with it. The lady boss and the staff were friendly and polite. Waiting was not long and the portions are just good for a takeaway. This meal cost me around $70. Would recommend this to anyone who wants to eat dinner or dinner here. even if you pay cash you get a 5% discount"
