"I recently had the pleasure of dining at 田むら銀かつ亭, and I must say, their tofu Tonkatsu is absolutely irresistible! The tofu Tonkatsu was prepared flawlessly, with a perfect texture that wasn't too hard or too soft. The use of a tofu batter added an extra level of crispiness, making each bite a delight. What impressed me even more was the freshness and taste of the ingredients. The tofu itself was of excellent quality, and the mince used in the dish was packed with flavor. "Nice steak , great wine beer. Some smoke was all over the place, so for sensitive person/ who dont like smoke, could be bothersome. Wagyu tomahawk steak worth its 15000 yen price tag, very soft and delicious, though medium rare look like medium/ medium-welldone"

"Ok so I've had a lot of steak in this lifetime.. but this place has the best steak I've ever had the pleasure of putting into my mouth. It is worth every cent and for an upscale restaurant like it, not crazy expensive. All in all we spent about 28,000 yen for two sets of sirloin steaks, cocktails and ala carte items. The 140g sirloin steak comes as a set that included small starters of sashimi, soup, stewed beef and radish, and grilled snapper. They were all hearty and delicious, and you can taste the intricate flavours of every single one. The steak itself was the highlight of course, and it is a mind-blowing melt in your mouth, tender, flavourful steak.. I'm not exaggerating. I need another one rn"

"Everything was good here. The sashimi was very fresh, and the other dishes like the oden, doburi, beef curry rice, fried fish were amazing. To top it off, the waiter who was the kindest I have met in Hakone, offered us a plate of fresh sashimi."

"Delightful sushi place, the negitoro don was delicious and well-priced (1050 JPY). Loved the amberjack and inari sushi too. Staff were kind and the chef speaks English. They have an English menu too. Btw the opening hours are stated as 11am-8pm but they were sold out around 6pm (we arrived at 5.15pm). I believe they’re closed on Thursdays too. Cash only."

"Staying at Gora Kadan was a once in a lifetime experience and I will never forget it. It was the most luxurious vacation that I have ever experienced and I have NEVER had the level of service that their staff provided. It's pretty pricey, but I think it's worth it. The prices are per person, per night and include breakfast and dinner. I originally found out about them when I was emailing different ryokans in Hakone asking if they could accommodate vegans. They were one just a few that responded and said that they could. When I made the reservation, I noted our dietary preferences and they emailed me a few days later to ask specifics about ingredients and food preferences. They were very thorough and helpful. When we got there all the food was great and we could tell the chef tried hard to make our food flavorful and creative. We really enjoyed our stay and the food was great!"
