Went as a party of four for a evening meal. Pub has had a refurbishment relatively recently which has created a light airy atmosphere within. Very busy when we arrived but we were met by a very pleasant female member of the serving staff who was friendly and professional throughout. Menu good and varied. What 30sus doesn't like about The Plough:
The worst Sunday roast I have ever had, the beef didn’t look anything like beef (light brown in colour). The Yorkshire pudding tasted like paper, the roast potatoes needed a chisel to cut. Needed steel teeth to eat them. Parsnips were burnt , tasteless. The gravy was the only thing that looked half decent, and guess what NO TASTE.
