"A special spot for breakfast. Their food was divine. I had the filled croissant and it was fresh and delicious. Their food is flavourful and their coffee is good. My only regret is not ordering the baked cheesecake because I was eyeing it the whole time, don't make the same mistake as me! Was surprised to see how many different things they sell throughout the premises. I liked the vast array and tried not to have my wife look too long otherwise we'd be leaving with everything!"

"We stopped here while passing through the town after it was recommended to us by a local. Having no expectations we were pleasantly surprised to find a very neat and well presented place. Inside it is very elegant and outside is very cozy with a nice atmosphere. The food was amazing and they are not shy on the portions for what you pay. I would definitely recommend."

"Edit: 3 year laters and the mutton pie is still delicious and the service is still super friendly and good. Plus the thickest dom pedros ever. Original: I had the Mutton Pie with rice and veg and my partner had the lamb burger. Both were delicious. Fast and friendly service and beautiful historic building. If you are in Colesberg you should definitely give it a try."

"Our first stop on our road trip and we had supper at Bordeaux restaurant. We shared the Skaapstertjies which was so juicy and tender. Then the 3 of us had Boontjie-bredie, Chicken pie and Lamb curry. Incredibly tasty and big portions were given. We went to our guest house very full but very content."

"Was pleasantly surprised to find a delicious vegetarian meal in Colesberg. I ordered the veggies on the day and Greek salad. The creamed spinach was delicious! Others ordered the nachos which were huge and the veg pizza which was excellent. And don't leave without ordering a Ginger Jack shot! Waitress was friendly and service was great."
