"Travelled into Colesberg from Philippolis on a Sunday for lunch and found this lovely gem tucked in right next to the OK foodstore! Friendly and hospitable waitress had me seated in a beautiful indoor tabled area with a steaming cappuccino served in 5 minutes flat. Karoo lamb pie and green salad beautifully presented,perfectly flavoured and well priced. Felt safe, spoiled and very welcome. Shall return!"

"We stopped here while passing through the town after it was recommended to us by a local. Having no expectations we were pleasantly surprised to find a very neat and well presented place. Inside it is very elegant and outside is very cozy with a nice atmosphere. The food was amazing and they are not shy on the portions for what you pay. I would definitely recommend."

"Our first stop on our road trip and we had supper at Bordeaux restaurant. We shared the Skaapstertjies which was so juicy and tender. Then the 3 of us had Boontjie-bredie, Chicken pie and Lamb curry. Incredibly tasty and big portions were given. We went to our guest house very full but very content."

"Not gonna lie, I personally don't eat KFC chicken but I somehow got a breast piece in the box meal I ordered and it's thee best piece of Kentucky deep fried chicken I've had to date, not oily , crispy , spicy and golden brown. Here in CapeTown KFC is down the gutters with their smet oily chicken."
