and it was perfect. great coffee also served. though I had none; the homemade cake selection looked amazing. beautiful outside area for when the sun is out.

good little fuge to grab lobster or meat sandwich and drinks. it was good at night.

"An awesome place to visit and camp, most northerly place you can reach on Cape Breton. Pretty much camping on the side of a huge hill overlooking the ocean. People were very friendly and helpful, and the food at the chowder hut was amazing!"
