"Wonderful day trip from York! We rented 3 bikes: 2 mountain bikes 1 e-bike for the non-cyclist among us (me). The Swale Trail was lovely and a very pleasant ride along the river and past green pastures. On the way back, we decided to stick to the road, as it was smoother and had barely any traffic, plus it gave us a different vantage point. It was a bit of an effort to get to the top of the hill, but then it was smooth sailing all the way back down into town. The best thing about the rental experience, though, was the proprietor. He's the type of person you can instantly sense is a caring and decent human being. He was pleasant, helpful, and graciously accommodating of us making last-minute changes. Truly a pleasure!"

"My husband surprised me with one night here for my 40. from the moment we were there, it was amazing, friendly staff, helpful, room was fabulous and the evening meal was the best I ever experienced! felt relaxed and would certainly recommend yorbridge to anyone! can not wait to go back!"

"We came across this little gem today. We stopped in for a light lunch and sat out front. It’s a charming proper country pub. We decided to order 4 starters to share. They came fairly promptly and we were very impressed with the presentation and the flavours were great. Pictures uploaded. We would highly recommend this fabulous establishment and will be returning."
