"Review for the restaurant only. Lovely to find a tasting menu in the highlands with all local ingredients. Decently priced from the perspective of NYC tasting menus. Straight down the middle with the courses, everything was good kind of what’d you expect. Nothing crazy wild/innovative, they played it safe. The wine pairing was also solid no complaints. It was a good experience to find a delicate menu after eating all the piles of delicious seafood! Staff was super friendly as well. "Wow, great restaurants in Portree! The menu is unique and wonderful. We had a late lunch and still gobbled up all our dinner. Everything coming out of the kitchen smelled wonderful and my dessert samplers finished before I could steal a bite of anything. Even if its not meal time stop in and check out the decor and warm atmosphere with locals and tourists alike. This was our favorite restaurant in Portree even though the others were amazing also. Of course they expertly poured us stouts and drams and keep the kids smiling with non alcoholic beverages. I had such a great time I forgot to snap a photo!"

"Loved our stop here, a quirky sun filled space surrounded by book shelves, reminded me of an old school library. Friendly staff, basic vegan options nicely prepared. I had home made beans on toast and delicious oat milk chai latte."

"What an absolute joy. we noticed it on our trip to see the fairy-tale night and decided to stop on the lunch on the way back. everything was delicious, large portioning and good value. I never had a torn skin and was so happy that I did. we also have the crab salad and the scallops. the chef on the scallops was perfect, I think they had a little balsamium on them. the brown claws were gigantic. they have a small outdoor area that I can imagine being fantastic when the weather is beautiful."
