The vibe is pretty good. The temperature was good in spite of the cold weather outside. The food was so-so. Everything a little spicy. The service was great.

"Heard some good and bad things about this restaurant. Booked dinner for my family since my sister was visiting from Europe. The waiter was well formed, and attentive. He seemed to know the menu, and know the beer and wine list. Dinner was great, and the price was fair. I would definitely go back. The menu had a good variety and the food quality was good."

"I went for lunch. I made a reservation a few weeks before. There are not many tables in this cozy spot (seems like only 35-40 max can be seated), so if you really want to go on a specific day, it might be worthwhile to reserve.At lunch, only the buffet was available. I don't normally like buffets, but this one looked good. For the amount and quality of food, it was reasonably priced coming in just under $41.00 inclusive of tax, but before tip, for 2 people. The buffet includes chicken schnitzel, Vienna schnitzel, and polish sausage for the meats, cheddar perogies covered with bacon and chives, mashed potatoes, potato salad, arugula salad, soup, coleslaw, sauerkraut, buns, and a few other sides. There is a hunter sauce for the schnitzel and a sour cream for the perogies.The Vienna schnitzel was the star. Crispy on the outside, moist on the inside, just perfectly cooked. The hunter sauce was a great accompaniment. The polish sausages, which I normally love, were nothing compared to the schnitzel. The perogies were good too. My colleague truly enjoyed the sides. I thought that they were average, but it all tasted like home cooking.What was surprisingly also good was the black forest cake. I normally don't care for this sort of cake as I do not like chocolate and fruit together in a cake, but it was yummy. I am not sure if it was home made, but regardless, it was not bad.The service was very good. Very friendly, attentive, and cordial.I did not look at the drink selection, but if you don't care for traditional beers, you might be out of luck. I asked about fruitier beers, ciders, or raddlers, but was told that there were none. Riesling was the recommended option.I didn't even have to eat a dinner because I was so stuffed! You should wear relaxed pants here!I am definitely going back for dinner and would take anyone there, perhaps not a Vegetarian or a non-pork eater though!"
