Warm and welcoming English pub with delicious food. We ate here three nights and I chose three different main meals. All were beautifully presented and delicious. The staff was polite and friendly and we waited only a very short time before we received our meals. Very recommend you come and try the lamb shoulders, the Venison pie, the filled chicken breast and the oven baked salmon. Winner! View all feedback.

read moreThe restaurant in question seems to have received mixed reviews, with several customers expressing disappointment in their experience. Complaints ranged from long wait times for food, to dishes being served cold and under-seasoned. Some customers also mentioned poor communication from the staff and mistakes with orders. However, on a positive note, others praised the friendly and efficient service they received, as well as the delicious food, particularly highlighting dishes such as the lamb shoulders, Venison pie, and filled chicken breast. The ambience of the restaurant was also noted, with compliments on the old school charm and beautiful building. Overall, it seems that while there were some negatives, the restaurant does have its strengths, especially in terms of food quality and service.
