"We visited Beak for lunch as recommended by our tour guides at the end of a cruise. The small dining room, comfortable but not fancy, was busy but not crowded. We ordered 2 loca beers (hazy IPAs) and a glass of wine- all were excellent. Two of us ordered salmon chowder, which was excellent. Lunch entrees included salmon pita, rockfish tacos, and grilled king salmon with a kale salad. All were delicious, prepared perfectly and beautifully presented. Furthermore, the service was prompt and attentive. The prices were very reasonable for the high quality meal (Alaska reasonable). All four of us left very satisfied and pleased with our experience."

"The place has a beautiful view, good service, was there for breakfast, my benedict eggs were good and fresh squeezed orange juice. I love that they have events downstairs lounge. Definitely the best Cocktails in town!"

"Lived up to all the hype. Small venue with incredibly well crafted food. Spanish themed. The paella was fantastic; only place I know of in Alaska that serves paella. A little tough to get in but worth it. The upstairs has a bar/tapas area that's first come/first serve but doesn't have the full menu."

"I've stay here a bunch. The hotel is nice, one of the best in town. The staff is great, enthusiastic and helpful. However, as is the case in much of Alaska there is no A/C and sometimes it gets hot."
