first time, great personal, at least again on the day. this place is something of an institution, they serve a fair selection of beer and apple wines and have excellent pie and chips. with a great selection to choose from in relation to cake. really. beautiful garden back. all round one of the best pubs in oxford. I visited this pub today in Jericho and was very disappointed with the bar staff and service. The guy behind the bar I believe was called Oscar, he was very rude when I trying to order drinks!
