You only find this old-fashioned railway refreshment room if you go down to Leyburn Station on the Wensleydale Heritage Railway. It is a little gem. The staff are very friendly and the service is efficient. There's a selection of drinks and home made cakes and sandwiches. An extra bonus is that it is dog friendly. Stopped mid journey whilst between Finghall Lane and Redmire stations. The staff member/volunteer was brilliant and was very conscious of the need to serve us whilst the train refuelled. The tea (regular and decaf) was okay and the hot chocolate lovely, whilst the price was really reasonable. View all feedback.
