"Review for the restaurant only. Lovely to find a tasting menu in the highlands with all local ingredients. Decently priced from the perspective of NYC tasting menus. Straight down the middle with the courses, everything was good kind of what’d you expect. Nothing crazy wild/innovative, they played it safe. The wine pairing was also solid no complaints. It was a good experience to find a delicate menu after eating all the piles of delicious seafood! Staff was super friendly as well. "Loved our stop here, a quirky sun filled space surrounded by book shelves, reminded me of an old school library. Friendly staff, basic vegan options nicely prepared. I had home made beans on toast and delicious oat milk chai latte."

"I stopped yesterday on the way to kilt rock. had a take, as they can not stay with dogs, but this has not taken away from the food, drinks or service. the sandwiches and the suppe were delicious and the coffee was perhaps the best. I ever had! the father and daughter who worked theke were very friendly and chatting and seemed simply in the regular living people. we will definitely come back here at our next visit to the beautiful skye!"

"This restaurant agreed as our safe port in the storm. Literally. It's hard to find restaurants ad hoc on Skye but this place had space for us. It was great food, the best service I had in Scotland, and the best Sticky Toffee Pudding too. While the rain outside came down in sheets, we enjoyed a nice meal in a confirmed place. What more can you expect?"

"You must book in advance for this restaurant and we can see why. The food was wonderful. My friend had oysters to start which were large. I had sea bass on mushroom risotto as my main which was amazing. For pudding I had cranachan which was the best thing ever. The restaurant is located on Portree dockside but views are limited due to shape of restaurant and small windows."

"Wow, great restaurants in portree! the menu is unique and wonderful. we had a late lunch, and we had our whole evening meal. everything that came out of the kitchen smells wonderful and my Dessert grapes finished before I could steal something. even if its not meal time to stop and check the decoration and warm atmosphere with local and tourist alike. that was our favorite restaurant in portree, although the others were amazing. Of course, they made us stouts and drams and let the children smile with soft drinks. I had such a great time that I forgot to make a photo!"
