absolutely amazing wee hotel. I was close to my work last week. the staff are all very friendly, eating is good pub food and all fresh, breakfast is top, local every evening in the bar are also all good nice people. I usually stay in hiltons and other big business sites, they don't care about their use as much as a weed place as this, they stay next week again and I will use red lion as my basic camp every month! read more.

I fell and hurt my knee in the street and hobbled into this bar to ask if I could wash the grit from my palms. I discovered that my knee was bleeding and went into the bar to ask for a plaster! Well they were so lovely and gave me antiseptic cream and Craig bandaged up my knee! I cannot thank them enough. And will return to have a drink in there next time and maybe some bar food!
