We ate in the conservatory twice during our stay at Meathop Fell Caravan Park. The waiter/manager was very pleasant and efficient and we felt quite safe during COVID Protection times. The food was delicious, especially the onion soup and lamb tagine on the first night. The second night I had scampi and chips and partner had beef burger, again lovely food and well presented. If you are looking for a Faulty Towers themed dining experience then this is the place for you. Rude managers, run down restaurant and gardens, no atmosphere or character. Expected Basil to appear at any moment. Saving graces are that the beer and food are reasonable. Can't see it lasting long under current management which would be a great shame as the Woodlands has so much potential. View all feedback.
