"Couldn’t have found a more lovely place for a family meal-wish we’d found The Ivy house earlier…We were greeted like family members,you can feel yourself relaxing instantly,the whole vibe of the place is chilled,intimate and so welcoming. The menu isn’t large,which,personally is a great thing, food was fresh,beautifully presented,delicately flavoured to bring out the best of what you were eating. There’s a fantastic chilled lounge next door,all Indian rugs,lanterns,cushions and lights..half open to the elements…unfortunately it was a bit too chilly to sit there when we went,but can imagine that it’s wonderful on a warm Summers evening….It’s definitely n o t designer,thank goodness,but if you like something a bit different,with amazing food,then go! There’s plenty of parking,just an all round brilliant place..Thank you so much for such a happy evening."

"We had a fabulous meal here yesterday evening for my husband's birthday, with our two children. The food was great, found it difficult to choose what to eat, as such a lovely menu- the scallops were amazing. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and particularly accommodating as my son has a severe nut allergy. Will definitely book again when we are next down in Cornwall."

"We stopped here for lunch on the way back from the bodmin wenford steam train; it felt a bit like a magic mysteries tour, but the sat nav led us to a beautiful pub in a stunning location. excellent food service. I had the whispers, my man had the fish goujons, my father the (enormous! pork chop, my daughter sink, egg chips and my son the steak chips. everyone was thrilled what I think could be a first! highly recommended."

"Came for cream tea a milkshake and it did not disappoint! They catered to the fact we had dogs so allowed us to sit outside with a dog bowl. Ordered a milkshake for while we were there which is not only in a big glass so definitely worth the money but it also tasted incredible. Ordered a cream tea to go and 1 box came with 2 scones, a clotted cream pot, a strawberry jam pot loads of strawberries. This was more than sufficient for me and my boyfriend and tasted incredible. Although it is on a holiday site, it is positioned fairly close to the entrance so even if you aren't staying with them you can go and dine there. Definitely worth the visit if you're looking for a cream tea in a nice quiet area."
